VivaNola is a positive and unlikely offspring from Hurricane Katrina. In an effort to make people feel better in the wake of Katrina, this company has its base. Effie, the founder of VivaNola, who was also very much devastated by Hurricane Katrina, recognized the value in looking good means feeling good and that feeling good can change the outlook that a person has. The story begins with helping good friends feel better starting out their new lives in the wake of Katrina. She started with air brush tanning, as we all know a healthy glow makes people feel better. So many people, especially in the south, suffer from some sort of skin cancer and or issue resulting from sun damage, especially those of us who are in our 30’s and 40’s. This was a safe alternative to traditional sunning, yet still looks great. This service also kind of camouflages small imperfections such as spider veins and other issues such as freckles and age spots which gives you a confidence boost.
Next addition to the services, came teeth whitening. As we get a little older, out teeth just don’t look as bright as they were in our 20’. Red wine, coffee, soy sauce, and even traditional New Orleans bloody Mary’s stain our teeth. This new LED system brightens teeth safely and in only 15 minutes per treatment. After some time had passed, LED photo facials were added to the service list to give an overall head to toe “pick me up”. This has been very successful helping people feel and look good without risk.
